About Us

History:

The Small Town Cruizers Car Club (STCCC) was formed in 1991 by a SMALL group of local classic car owners who wanted to preserve and enjoy their prized possessions with other car enthusiasts in their TOWN, who shared the same passion and interest in their old cars. Of course, classic cars and hot rods tend to be the club’s common bond. However, the CRUIZERS are not just about cars. We also share a special unity and friendship as a car family.

Purpose:

STCCC is a not for profit incorporated general interest car club, dedicated to the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of most classic, antique, muscle, special interest, and limited production vehicles. STCCC also strives: * To be good stewards of the local community through charity and goodwill. * Foster relationships with neighboring car clubs through collaboration and cross-promotion. * Build camaraderie by participating in activities beyond our cars. Our motto is; "Let's get around and have some fun!" Although our club is comprised of a wide variety of members and vehicles, our primary purpose is to cruize around as a car club family and have fun!

Membership:

STCCC is open to just about anyone interested in restoring, cruising, showing, and/or socializing with other car enthusiasts who own a 1974 or older American made or American powered vehicle, and also share the same profound desire and interest in their old cars. The only real requirement for membership is “participation!” Participation includes, but not limited to car shows, cruise-in events, parades, meetings, fun runs, and various other club activities. Prospective members desiring to join the club can submit an application for a trial membership. During your trial membership period, you will be assigned a sponsor who will help guide you along, and answer any questions you may have. Once all of the eligibility requirements have been met, your sponsor will make a motion to change your membership status from "trial" to "active." Once the motion is made, it will be put to a vote by the club. Our goal is to ensure the club is a good fit and enjoyable for everyone! The club does have the ability to make exceptions regarding the age and/or make of the vehicle. After all, we are a small cruizer family! So, if you share the same passion for older vehicles and think you might be interested in joining the cruizers, or just want to know a little more about us, we invite you to join us at one of our monthly meetings or cruize events, which are listed on the events calendar. Of course, you always have the option to contact us directly using our "Contacts" page. * Please keep in mind that most membership rewards come from active club participation and associating with other members of our club. Hope to see you at one of our events soon. Until next time, let's get around and have some fun!
